  2. Solar Installer
    • Looking for Solar Technicians to work out of our Eagle-Vail Colorado location. We are looking to hire year-round and seasonal employees wanting to learn and grow with an ever-expanding business. Construction experience is a plus. Higher starting wage with NABCEP certification or previous electrical or solar experience.

    • Must be a current resident of Denver, CO. Twelve-month commitment. General construction knowledge, experience, skills; solar installation experience is a plus. Basic computer skills. Strong organizational skills/interest. Clean, valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  2. Electrician
    • Completion of an apprenticeship program or equivalent training and experience. Valid electrician license in the state of Colorado. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and equipment. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Interest in renewable energy sources and commitment to sustainability
  3. Residential Solar Installer
    • Experience in PV system installation, design, and troubleshooting. Experience leading a crew in PV installation, minimum one year. Excellent communication skills. Willingness to work on evenings and weekends when required. Receive NABCEP certified within one year. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Some travel outside the Denver Area required  
  4. Solar Construction (Paid Internship)
    • Availability for a full 12-week commitment. A passion for doing great work. A desire to learn. Interest in and enthusiasm for renewable energy, community development, green jobs and/or helping families and communities in need.   5. Major Gifts Officer (Hybrid)
    • Ability to develop a prospecting strategy to secure new funders. 4-5 or more years of professional nonprofit fundraising or grantmaking experience, including a demonstrated track record of managing major 6- to 7-figure foundation and corporate partnerships. Demonstrated exceptional persuasive writing skills, including both grant writing, oral presentations and email communication. Excellent organizational skills, follow-through, and attention to detail and deadlines
  6. Tribal Program Solar Installation Supervisor (Hybrid)
    • Experience in PV system installation, design, and troubleshooting, including off-grid. Experience leading a crew in PV installation. Excellent communication skills. Comfortable working with culturally diverse Native American populations. Flexibility and willingness to embrace change, go the extra mile, and bring ideas and energy to rapidly growing organization. Willingness to work on evenings and weekends. Extensive travel throughout the United States at least 2-3 weeks out of the month
  7. Assistant Workforce Trainer
    • Prior teaching experience in classroom, laboratory, workshop, vocational school/program, high school, or community college. Ability to assist in keeping the attention of a cohort during 8 hour training sessions. Experience in residential solar electric system installation / troubleshooting. Passion for GRID’s mission related to renewable energy, community development, green jobs, and/or helping families and communities in need. Solar and Electrical experience.
  8. Workforce Solar Trainer
    • Minimum 1 year of solar installation experience; comfort in teaching about any portion of the installation process. Ability to manage and keep the attention of trainees/students during training sessions. Experience in and ability to coach, mentor, and lead a construction crew. Ability to relate to and respect diverse populations. Strong desire to help and inspire others reach their potential and positively change their lives.

  • Passion for the renewable energy sector, solar industry experience and experience with service or service management in a technical field (e.g. renewable energy, HVAC, electrical contracting, construction, etc.).

Valmont Solar

  1. Regional Project Engineering Supervisor
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience; leadership through project management or prior supervisory experience required; Master’s degree, PE license,  and experience with solar racking structures preferred
  2. Senior Structural Design Engineer – Solar
    • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with 7+ years of relevant experience (or Master’s degree with 5+ years of relevant experience); PE license required; experience with solar racking structures and SE license preferred
  3. Structural Design Engineer – Solar
