Redeux Energy is seeking a Project Controls Scheduler, supporting the Program Management Team, to track, monitor, and report on schedules and budgets of our growing utility scale solar and storage project pipeline in the United States.  The person selected for this role will have strong scheduling expertise and experience with forecasting and records management.

Position Responsibilities:

The Project Controls Scheduler will report to the Senior Manager of Program Management. The Scheduler will assist the project management team in the weekly and monthly administration of project schedules to ensure tasks are executed on time and risks are communicated effectively to leadership. The selected candidate will be responsible for the following activities:

  • Support the use of Redeux’s project and program management systems and tools – including scheduling, budgeting, reporting, and document management
  • Develop project schedules with input from regional development leads and cross functional team members
  • Coordinate with regional developers on a weekly to monthly basis to ensure scheduling activities are accurately tracked and monitored
  • Support development and finance teams in forecasting efforts to facilitate quarterly reporting
  • Support monthly cost and schedule reports to demonstrate the performance of regional prospecting and active pipeline projects
  • Document project management best practices to assist the maturation of the company
  • Facilitate consistent data and records management across teams

Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced project controls specialist for capital intensive infrastructure projects.  This candidate will work in a matrix organization and interact well with all the functional groups. Direct experience with utility-scale project development is preferred. The ideal candidate must be enthusiastic, self-motivated, hands-on, results-oriented, and a team player. Key qualifications as follows:

  • 2 – 4 years of project experience in a project controls role
  • Skilled user of project scheduling tools such as MS Project, P6, or Smartsheet. (Experience with Smartsheet is a plus)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • CAPM Certification or similar is preferred
  • 4-year relevant college degree required or equivalent work experience

This position will be filled as a Full Time Position:

  • Competitive salary $60,000 – $75,000
