Active Energies Solar is looking for Lead Solar Technicians working out of our Eagle-Vail Colorado location.
We are looking to hire long term employees wanting to learn and grow with an ever-expanding business, we are a family owned, employee-oriented business that specializes in residential and commercial installs in the Rocky Mountain region.
This position is for a quality driven individual with an eye for detail, mechanically and technically inclined with crew lead experience. Electrical experience preferred but not required. Higher starting wage with NABCEP certification or previous electrical or solar experience.

- Monday- Thursday 10-hour shifts with Overtime opportunities on Fridays
Pay
- Starting at $22.00 Higher starting wage with experience and certifications

- $500.00 hiring bonus after 90-day performance review

Responsibilities
- Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
- Mechanical /structural mounting of racking, modules, and electrical equipment
- Train new employees and supervise crew for quality assurance
- Site visits for project planning
- Communicate with customers in a professional manner
- Preparation and clean up of job site
- Additional duties as required
Requirements
- Comfortable on roofs of varied height and slope
- Must be able to lift panels, climb ladders and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management skills organizational skills
- Reliable attendance required
- Motivated team player, ability to work collaboratively with a team of installers
- Positive mental attitude with the willingness to learn and evolve
