As an expert in civil engineering, you play an essential role in keeping up with the demand for our oil and gas company’s increased workflow. Your main responsibilities are to lead the planning, designing, and development of project deliverables as well as assist with reports and construction documents for projects, including grading, drainage, roadways, and utilities. When assigned a water resources project, you perform engineering calculations and produce drawings.

In addition, you lead in production planning, writing reports, and giving presentations. Using your high-performance design skills, you help our company continuously grow by assisting in marketing and business development opportunities. You ensure that you are always abiding by local, state, and federal requirements anytime you produce engineering plan sets, specifications, and construction documentation packages. You have no trouble balancing multiple assigned projects at once as well as taking the time to ensure that permitting regulations are always applied to site layouts and all work is done correctly.   • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering
  • Licensed Professional Engineer Certification in Colorado OR ability to apply for reciprocity/comity
  • 3+ years of experience working on renewable projects
  • Experience working with draining, grading, erosion, and the sediment control permitting process
  • Knowledge about preparing drainage reports, Stormwater Management Plans (SWMP), and Stormwater Management Program Plans (SWMPP)
  • Knowledge about the Urban Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD) and Mile High Flood District (MHFD)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Experience with field and construction inspection is preferred. Experience with floodplain modeling would be a plus. Knowledge about the Urban Storm Drainage Criteria Manual (USDCM) volumes 1, 2, and 3 is preferred but multiple factors will be taken into consideration.
