Solar Power Pros (SPP), a rapidly growing residential and commercial solar installer, is seeking an exceptional candidate to lead our residential sales team.  The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of recruiting and developing high performing sales teams.  The candidate will need to consistently perform tasks at both the strategic and tactical level to be successful.      

Job Responsibilities

  • Consistently achieve SPP’s ambitious residential sales and revenue goals
  • Recruit and develop a team of employee and subcontractor sales professionals
  • Develop and deliver an effective sales training program comprised of industry leading practices
  • Develop and manage a sales commission program that motivates the sales team while achieving company margin goals
  • Work with company leadership to develop and spearhead our residential sales strategic plans for growing company revenues and margins
  • Design, implement, and manage a consistent process and methodology for sales forecasting, planning and budgeting
  • Track sales team key performance indicators and regularly report the performance to company leadership
  • Aggressively implement staffing and process improvement efforts to achieve sales and company goals
  • Ensure all sales appointments and communications are tracked within company CRM
  • Partner with the marketing team to continually evolve lead generation and sales processes
  • Maintain an expert level of understanding of SPP’s products and services
  • Monitor residential market pricing, financing and services to provide product development feedback to ensure our company service offerings remain competitive
  • Perform other needed job tasks as requested by company leadership

Required Job Qualifications / Skills

  • Ability to establish strategic plans and to tactically execute on those plans
  • A minimum of 5 years of solar residential sales experience is required
  • A minimum of 3 years of sales team management is required
  • Experience managing teams of employees and subcontractors
  • Experience recruiting and hiring employees
  • Excellent communication and customer interaction skills
  • Experience using CRM systems
  • General computer and MS Office desktop software proficiency
  • Entrepreneurial mentality with high-reaching goal setting and relentless results driven
  • Demonstrate integrity, accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement
