We have established a reputation of providing professional specialized project implementation for a multitude of clients. Our passion is Solar Energy, we provide affordable residential and commercial solar systems. Whether the system is grid tied, off grid, or grid tied with battery backup we provide a quality system at the lowest cost.
We are seeking applicants who have previous sales experience, who are self-motivated, energetic and professional. You are the initial contact for customers so you must be representing Southard Solar in a professional manner at all times. If you are passionate about clean energy and the environment, and are looking to work at a rapidly growing company, we are looking for you.
Responsibilities:
Follow company leads and generate revenue
Self-generate new leads through referral base and networking
Meet or exceeds monthly sales goals
Participate in all required training
Properly follow up with all assigned leads
Document sales process using company process and CRM
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required
Excellent computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Office, email and CRM systems)
Overall understanding of the sales process and experience with meeting and exceeding sales goals
Flexibility to work hours outside of the standard 9-5
Excellent customer service skills
Frequent local travel
Reliable personal transportation
Ability to work in extreme environments (i.e. hot sun, cold, crawl spaces, etc.)
Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs, walk on rooftops and be able to work on your feet for extended periods of time
Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment criminal, driving and drug screen
Must have a clean driving record (i.e. no DUI in the last 5 years)
Must have a valid state driver’s license
