Job Description

Solar Consultant will drive the growth and profitability of EcoMark by using established sales techniques to create and close deals with qualified customers. Consultants deliver in home solar proposals to prospective buyers, overcome objections and assist clients in securing financing.

Job Responsibilities

Creates sales opportunities by prospecting for potential customers independently as well as following up on company assigned leads.
Delivers exceptional solar sales proposals to prospective EcoMark clients.
Establishes and maintains current and new client relationships by employing professional, knowledgeable, and courteous customer service.

Meets or exceeds minimum monthly sales targets.
Appropriately documents the sales process using company processes and CRM.
Works with other departments within EcoMark to achieve mutual objectives as necessary.
Participates in ongoing training and professional development.

Job Requirements

    • At least one year of relevant sales experience
    • Experience prospecting and generating sales leads
    • Strong computer skills and experience working with a CRM
    • Reliable vehicle with proper insurance
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Professional appearance and effective interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work a variety of hours as sales schedule demands including evenings and weekends
    • Desire to work in solar or renewable energy fields

Preference will be given to candidates with a degree in environmental, renewable energy or energy fields.
